We imagine a world where Scripture is treasured by all and translated for all.

It’s the belief that God’s Word is enough for God’s people. You may have heard the phrase before. But do you recognize the impact it’s had on your life? Before Sola Scriptura became a common conviction, most Christians didn’t have access to Scripture. They didn’t own personal copies of the Bible. They relied on a priest or clergyman to read and interpret God’s Word for them. But when men and women started to embrace the sufficiency of Scripture, it opened the door to something radical—the translation and distribution of Bibles for all.
We believe everyone deserves a Bible they can treasure for a lifetime. And we believe everyone deserves a Bible translated into their own language. Our name—Scriptura—reminds us of the men and women who made it possible to treasure a personal copy of the Bible. And it inspires us to help those who still need a translation of God’s Word.

It all started when our founder, Dan, began to lose pages out of his favorite Bible. Like so many before him, he thought he would need to retire this beloved copy of Scripture and replace it with a new one. And then it occurred to him—what if I could keep this Bible for life? Today, we’re answering that question for Bible readers everywhere. We believe that your personal Bible is irreplaceable—a precious possession you should treasure for a lifetime. Crafted with the best materials and highest level of care, every Scriptura Bible is designed to withstand time and outlive its reader.

There was once a time when powerful people refused to translate Scripture into the common languages of the day. Sola Scriptura changed that, giving everyone access to God’s Word—regardless of position or power. But the story isn’t over. Today, despite the impact of Sola Scriptura on history, millions still live without a single verse of Scripture in their own language. We want to change that. When you purchase a Scriptura Bible, you help us fund Bible translation work around the world. We dream of a day when the Bible will be treasured by every language group. On behalf of those who still need Scripture—thank you for your support.
