Leather

  • Our leather colors are named after important dates in the Sola Scriptura story. Please visit our Leather page to learn more.

  • All of our engravings are black—not gold or another color. Because of this, personalizations are more subtle on darker leathers. If you want your personalization to appear prominently on your Bible’s cover, we recommend choosing our lightest color (c1663).

  • If you’re struggling to choose a leather color, we’d recommend ordering our free samples. This will allow you to see each color in person, and decide which is best for you.

Shipping

  • We will ship your order using FedEx 2-Day shipping after our team has crafted the Bible. It may take up to fourteen (14) days to craft your Bible.

  • We have encountered situations in which a package gets stuck at a location for several days. In most cases, however, the package arrives to its intended destination, albeit later than expected. If your package has not moved for more than four (4) days, please contact us and we’ll help you work with FedEx to find your package.

  • While shipping internationally always takes longer than shipping domestically, we have noticed increased delays in international shipping since March of 2020. Most packages arrive within one (1) month, but there have been times when it’s taken longer. We advise our friends living outside of the United States to anticipate such delays, in case they occur.

Repairs & Returns

  • Whether or not your Bible is covered under ForeverCare, we can still evaluate its eligibility for a repair. Please fill out this form, and our team will contact you within one (1) business day to discuss the situation.

  • We may accept a return if your Bible is not marked, damaged, or personalized. Please use this form to request the return, and our team will contact you within one (1) business day to discuss your situation.

ForeverCare

  • ForeverCare can be added to any Scriptura Bible within 30 days of the Bible’s purchase date. Please contact us if you would like to add ForeverCare to a recently purchased Bible.

  • Bibles are a unique book for two reasons. First, they’re large volumes, usually containing around two-thousand pages. This means the pages tend to be extremely thin, which makes the binding more fragile. Second, Bibles are read often. Few books, if any, are opened as often as your Bible. These two reasons may lead to a Bible falling apart over time, even when crafted with quality materials.

  • Damage to both a Bible’s leather and textblock are covered by ForeverCare. Please review our Pricing Guide for more details.

  • ForeverCare can be added to any Bible within 30 days of the purchase date—even Bibles given as gifts! If you don’t add ForeverCare to a gifted Bible, the recipient can add it themselves within the 30 day timeframe by contacting us.

Restoration

  • Yes, absolutely. All Scriptura Bibles, including those sent in to be restored, can be covered by ForeverCare.

  • We’re honored that you would consider choosing us to restore your Bible. Please fill out this form to begin the process, and a member of our team will be in touch within one (1) business days to share next steps.

  • Your Bible will be fully restored within thirty (45) days from the date we receive it.

  • Our team will calculate a one-time cost for restoring your Bible based on its size and condition. Please fill out this form, and our team will contact you within one (1) business day to share next steps.

  • We will share our mailing address with you once your Bible has been approved for restoration. Please fill out this form first, and our team will contact you within one (1) business day to share next steps.

  • Definitely. Eligible custom designs can be added to any Bible approved for restoration.

  • At this time we do not offer Scripture Type designs for restored Bibles.

Custom Design

  • We will need your design as a black-and-white, 2D, JPEG or PNG file with good resolution.

Scripture Type

  • Scripture Type is a company that turns Bible verses into beautiful, hand-drawn designs. Through our exclusive brand partnership with them, you can add any Scripture Type design to a Scriptura Bible. We encourage you to check out their website to learn more about them and their work!

  • Our friends at Scripture Type are not currently accepting custom requests. However, if you would like to ask them to consider a specific verse for a future design, you can do so by contacting them directly.
